SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
The far i.r. spectra of the complexes NiII, CoII, CuII and ZnII(py)x(NO3)2 have been obtained with a view to determining which of the previously reported stoicheiometries exist. The results allow identification of M(py)x-(NO3)2(M = Ni, Co; x= 3, 6), Cu(py)x(NO2)2(x= 2, 3, 4, 6), and Zn(py)x(NO3)2(x= 2, 3, 6) as distinct phases.
