Single-crystal Raman and far-infrared spectra of tetrakis(thiourea)nickel(II) dichloride

Abstract

Raman and far-i.r. spectra for single crystals of tetrakis(thiourea)nickel(II) dichloride have been obtained at ca. 120 K and at ambient temperature. The results allow unambiguous assignment to A, B, and E species (in C4 symmetry). Descriptions of many of the internal modes are also offered.
