Some alkylimido-(or alkylnitrene) complexes of rhenium

Abstract

1,2-Disubstituted hydrazines react with oxotrichlorobis(triphenylphosphine)rhenium(V) with cleavage of the N–N bond and the formation of a nitrido-complex, or of an alkyl- or aryl-imido-complex of rhenium(V), but didibenzylhydrazine reacts differently.
