The dimorphic forms of bispicolinatocopper(II)

Abstract

Two forms reported of bispicolinatocopper(II) dihydrate have been re-examined in detail and shown to be dimorphic and of trans-configuration. A third form is shown to be the anhydrous trans-complex. All three forms form an identical 1 : 1 adduct with potassium thiocyanate and a 1 : 2 adduct with thiourea.
