The structure of [Et3AsCo(CO)3]2 in solution

Abstract

The infrared spectrum of [Et3AsCo(CO)3]2 is solvent-dependent. It has been interpreted on the basis of an equilibrium involving a non-bridged and two bridged isomers. Similar equilibria exist for other [LCo(CO)3]2 derivatives, but in these the proportions of the bridged forms are very small.
