Radiation chemistry of 6M-sulphuric acid

Abstract

Yields of products formed by X-irradiation of 6M-H2SO4 containing FeII or CeIV+ TlI in the presence and absence of oxygen have been measured. These yields have been interpreted in terms of reactions involving oxidation or reduction by species derived from both water and sulphuric acid.
