Silver and gold

Abstract

This chapter reviews the literature reported during 2012 on gold and silver coordination and organometallic chemistry with a focus on synthesis and unique structures, photophysical properties, biochemical studies, and homogeneous catalysis. Nanomaterials, surface chemistry, and heterogeneous catalysis are not discussed here.
