1H nuclear magnetic resonance studies of complexes formed by adsorption of ammonia on nickel-Y type zeolite

Abstract

Using the chemical shifts and widths of proton spectra of ammonia adsorbed on nickel-exchanged Y zeolites the migration and complexation of Ni2+ ions in the zeolite have been studied as a function of the degree of ion exchange and the number of ammonia adsorption–desorption cycles.
