Sound velocity and surface tension from Flory's statistical theory

Abstract

Flory's theory has been extended to evaluate sound velocity and surface tension over a wide range of temperature and pressure in liquid argon, krypton, xenon and nitrogen. The agreement between the theoretical and calculated sound velocity values is good.
