Isomerisation, reactivity and coordination chemistry of a new hybrid, multi-functional phosphazane

Abstract

The unsymmetric PIII/PV cyclodiphosphazane framework [(S[double bond, length as m-dash])(H)P(μ-NtBu)2PNHtBu] (2) provides entry into the mixed chalgogenide dianion [(S)P(μ-NtBu)2P(Se)NtBu]2−, and unique insight into the mechanisms of cis/trans isomerism in phosph(III)- and phosph(V)-azanes.
