Chlorinated corroles

Abstract

Fully β-pyrrole chlorinated corrole was obtained via reaction of the cobalt(III) complex of 5,10,15-tris(pentafluorophenyl)corrole with chlorine. The structural and electronic effects of chlorination are reported, together with the coordination chemistry of this complex.
