Generation and superhydrophobicity of complex PbSe crystalline nanodendrites

Abstract

Here we report a simple solvothermal method to synthesize complex PbSe nanodendrites with superhydrophobicity. To our knowledge, this is the first demonstration of superhydrophobic PbSe nanodendrites with water contact angle (CA) over 150° and sliding angle (SA) of 1°, which may find potential application for protecting PbSe semiconductor devices due to its self-cleaning properties.
