Supramolecular self-assembly of morphology-dependent luminescent Ag nanoclusters

Abstract

Self-assembled thiolated Ag nanoclusters (NCs) were facilely synthesized through one-pot microwave-assisted reaction. By the mechanism of aggregation induced emission, the quantum yield of the AgNCs is as high as 25.6%. The as-prepared AgNCs give access to intriguing photophysical features and multicolour emission, which are found to be related to their fascinating supramolecular structures.
