A mitochondria-localized two-photonfluorescent probe for ratiometric imaging of hydrogen peroxide in live tissue

Abstract

We report a two-photon fluorescent probe (SHP-Mito) which can ratiometrically detect mitochondrial H2O2 in live cells and intact tissues at >100 μm depth through the use of two-photon microscopy.
