Sunlight mediated disruption of peptide-based soft structures decorated with gold nanoparticles

Abstract

This communication reports morphological studies of a novel C3-symmetric thiolated, tren-based ditryptophan conjugate. The exposed thiol groups on the soft structures interacted with gold nanoparticles and mediated the release of encapsulated fluorescent dye, when exposed to natural sunlight.
