A unique Bi–Bi bond forming reaction using organobismuth oxides and phosphorus compounds bearing a P([double bond, length as m-dash]O)H group

Abstract

A new dibismuthane bearing a 5,6,7,12-tetrahydrodibenz[c,f][1,5]azabismocine framework was obtained in high yield by a unique reaction of the corresponding organobismuth oxide and organophosphorus compounds with a P([double bond, length as m-dash]O)H group.
