Perylenediimide—metal ion dyads for photo-induced electron transfer

Abstract

A novel perylene diimide incorporating a tetradentate ligand was synthesized and the photophysical properties of its Cu+, Cu2+, and Fe3+ complexes were investigated by fluorescence experiments.
