Intermolecular Cope-type hydroamination of alkynes using hydrazines

Abstract

Metal-free, intermolecular hydroaminations are performed upon heating aryl acetylenes and MeNHNH2 at 140 °C, with preferential formation of the linear, “anti-Markovnikovhydrazones.
