Structural characterization of the first hydrothermally synthesized plutonium compound, PuO2(IO3)2·H2O

Abstract

Single crystals of PuO2(IO3)2·H2O were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions (180 °C) representing the first structurally characterized transuranium iodate.
