A novel ATRP initiating system Fe(dtc)3/FeCl3/PPh3 for MMA polymerization

Abstract

A ‘living’/controlled radical polymerization of MMA was carried out with a novel ATRP initiation system: iron(III) tri(diethyldithiocarbamate) [Fe(dtc)3]/FeCl3/PPh3, where neither an organic halide nor a radical initiator was used.
