Hydrothermal synthesis and structural characterization of a tubular oxovanadium organophosphonate, (H3O)[(V3O4)(H2O)(PhPO3)3xH2O(x = 2.33)

Abstract

The hydrothermal reaction of KVO3, PhPO3H2 and water at 180 °C for 116 h yields the tubular mixed valence VV/VIV polymer (H3O)[(V3O4)(H2O) (PhPO3)3xH2O (x = 2.33).
