Fulvene radical cations

Abstract

The radical cation of 6,6-dimethylfulvene has been observed in a CFCl3 matrix at low temperatures by e.s.r. spectroscopy; this is discussed in the light of a recent CIDNP study of the radical cations of some fulvene derivatives.
