Synthesis and reactivity of 4H-triazoles

Abstract

4H-Triazoles, formed from sodium azide and α-chloroenamines bearing methoxycarbonyl- and alkyl-groups at the β-position, give, on thermolysis, aromatic triazoles and/or 3-amino-2H-azirines, and on photolysis, only azirines.
