15N nuclear magnetic resonance studies of ligand binding to zinc tetraphenylprophyrin

Abstract

Porphyrin 15N chemical shifts of complexes formed by zinc meso-tetraphenylporphyrin and substituted pyridines may be correlated with the electron donating ability of the pyridine substituent.
