SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
Irradiation of 2-dimethylamino-4,5-dihydro-3H-azepine (VI) is reported to yield 1-dimethylamino-cyclopentene (VII) and 4,5-trimethylenepyrimidine (VIII); 1-dimethylamino-7-azabicyclo[3,2,0]hept-6-ene (IX) is postulated to be an intermediate in this reaction.
