A label-free fluorescent sensor for Hg2+ based on target-induced structure-switching of G-quadruplex

Abstract

A highly sensitive and selective label-free fluorescent sensor was designed for Hg2+ based on the Hg2+-induced conformational change of G-quadruplex with protoporphyrin IX (PPIX) as a signal reporter.
