Fullerene–Porphyrin Nanosheet as an Efficient Catalyst Enables Solar-Light-Driven Ammonia Synthesis

Abstract

Photocatalytic nitrogen fixation is an excellent way in utilization of clean energy. We have designed a SA–CoTPP–C60 nanosheet with efficient charge separation and transmission properties in solar irradiation. Notably, the production rate of NH₃ is 285 μmol·g⁻¹·h⁻(AM 1.5)only in H₂O. It is of great importance in developing new types of photocatalytic N2 fixation materials.
