Freestanding Porous Mn2O3/Carbon Nanotube Film Cathode for High-Performance Aqueous Zinc-Ion Batteries

Abstract

Porous Mn2O3 nanocubes/single-walled carbon nanotube freestanding film electrodes were successfully prepared by a smart ‘‘coordination construction-pyrolysis-suction filtration’’ technology as advanced zinc-ion battery cathodes. Such rational design simultaneously addresses the key issues of volume expansion and poor conductivity in Mn₂O₃, enabling excellent rate capablity and stable cycling.
