Synergistic enhancement of evaporation-driven power generation via thermoelectric coupling at elevated temperatures
Abstract
Natural evaporation offers vast emission-free energy. We overcame low power limitations using a novel hybrid evaporative–thermoelectric generator. This sustainable synergy yielded 11.37 W m−2 (31.45% increase) at 100 °C with a p-Bi2Te3 device. Enhanced conductivity and thermal capacitance enable stable, eco-friendly power. This pollution-free approach offers insights for durable energy harvesting in hot/humid environments.
