Encapsulation of CdSe QDs into Micellar Microreactors for Highly Selective Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction in Aqueous Solution

Abstract

Hydrophobic ligand-modification of CdSe QDs make facile encapsulation of the QDs into SDS micelles, creating a hydrophobic, CO2-enriched microreactors for QDs enabling efficient, highly selective CO2-to-CO photoconversion of 2.47 mmol g-1 and up to 91.5% selectivity, in aqueous solution, outperforming prestine MPA-CdSe and MUA-CdSe.
