Recent advances in Chan–Lam coupling reaction

Abstract

Chan–Lam coupling is one of the most promising and versatile coupling reactions in the realm of organic chemistry. Developing environmentally benign, green, recyclable, and benchtop protocols is undoubtedly one of the most attractive areas of research. The huge potential of Chan–Lam coupling in terms of diverse carbon–heteroatom bonds, substrate libraries, and the study of new greener approaches presents enormous opportunities for future research. Herein, we discuss the recent advancements in Chan–Lam coupling as well as the anticipated future trends and prospects.
