Aqueous-phase Fischer–Tropsch reaction for the production of oxygenates from syngas over colloidal ruthenium nanoparticles

Abstract

A low-temperature aqueous Fischer–Tropsch reaction for the production of value-added oxygenates with low selectivity toward CH4 and CO2 was uncovered over colloidal Ru nanoparticles with the synergistic effect of Ruδ+–Ru0 as dual active sites, and the Na promoter could greatly improve the selectivity and yield towards oxygenates.
