Phosphate interphase reinforced amorphous vanadium oxide cathode materials for aqueous zinc ion batteries

Abstract

The phosphate interphase of anisotropic amorphous vanadium oxide (VO-PO@CNPs) can prevent structural reorganization and enrich ion diffusion paths in cathode materials for aqueous zinc ion batteries. VO-PO@CNPs cathodes achieve a high initial capacity, the average capacity reduction rate is just 0.13% for each cycle, and durability is prolonged to 280 hours at 0.2 A gāˆ’1.
