Zr-Based MOFs for oxidative desulfurization: what matters?

Abstract

Hierarchically porous Zr-based MOF (HP-Zr-MOF) as a catalyst in the oxidative desulfurization (ODS) of fuel was studied. The refractory organosulfur compounds can be completely removed at room temperature. The superior performance of HP-Zr-MOF, among other MOFs, makes it a promising candidate for practical application in the ODS process.
