Fresh MoO2 as a better electrode for pseudocapacitive sodium-ion storage

Abstract

MoO2 shows attractive electronic conductivity beyond other metal oxides as an anode material for sodium-ion storage. A one-pot method has been exploited for the rational design and synthesis of fresh MoO2 nanoclusters, which show improved sodium storage performances in terms of good cycling stability and superior rate capability than the annealed counterpart due to the dominated pseudocapacitance.
