DNA capture in nanopores for genome sequencing: challenges and opportunities

Abstract

Nanopore sensors are promising for sequencing DNA with revolutionized speed and low cost, while the throughput of the method is determined by the capture rate of polymers by the pores. In this paper, we discuss the challenges of improving the rate, and highlight several promising approaches.
