A multifunctional nanosensor based on silicananoparticles and biological applications in living cells

Abstract

A multifunctional nanosensor based on silica nanoparticles has been designed by importing metal binding sites and hydrogen bonds directly attached to the chromophore. It works well in the recognition of Hg2+, H2PO4βˆ’, S2βˆ’via different combination mechanisms, and intracellular imaging.
