Positional disorder of Cu(ii) ions in a cluster: a novel heptanuclear Cu(ii) core supported by 4-bromo-3,5-dimethylpyrazolate

Abstract

Two copper(II)-cluster complexes with intriguing heptanuclear cores have been synthesized and characterized by crystallographic and magnetic methods. Due to the positional disorder of copper(II) ions, the actual heptanuclear cluster demonstrates an asymmetric feature distinct from the previous reports.
