An ionic porous coordination framework exhibiting high CO2 affinity and CO2/CH4 selectivity

Abstract

An ionic porous coordination polymer possessing partially exposed uncoordinated nitrogens exhibits strong interaction with CO2 and high CO2/CH4 selectivity, and the adsorption mechanism is illustrated by the structure of its CO2-loaded single-crystal.
