Barrier effect of dendrons on TiO2 particles in dye sensitized solar cells

Abstract

The short circuit current of dye sensitised solar cells increased significantly by the simple addition of polyester hydroxyl acetylene bis(hydroxymethyl)propanoic acid dendrons on TiO2 nanoparticles, resulting in a very high overall energy conversion efficiency.
