Segmental dynamics of polymers during capillary flow into nanopores

Abstract

Ordered arrays of parallel cylindrical nanopores were employed as measurement platforms in the field of nanofluidics, in particular, to investigate – by means of broadband dielectric spectroscopy – the dynamic glass transition of polymers during capillary flow in 2D geometrical nanoconfinement. The results are compared to the glassy dynamics of the polymers in the bulk.
