Amphiphilic carbohydratephthalocyanine conjugates obtained by glycosylation or by azidealkyne click reaction

Author affiliations

Abstract

Two series of amphiphilic carbohydratephthalocyanine conjugates have been prepared either by glycosylation or by copper-catalyzed click coupling. A common precursor, a hydroxylated phthalocyanine, was directly glycosylated or converted into an azido derivative before undergoing grafting of propargyl–carbohydrates by click reaction.
