Self-assembly of supramolecular lipidnanoparticles in the formation of plant biopolyester cutin

Abstract

The implication of a self-assembly process in the early stages of cutin biosynthesis has been shown by means of antibodies raised against polyhydroxy fatty acidnanoparticles (cutinsomes).
