A doubly interpenetrated 3D porous metal–organic framework (SNU-9) exhibits high gas uptake capacities for N₂, O₂, CO₂, and H₂ gases, with uncommon stepwise adsorption and hysteretic desorption behaviors, while not adsorbing CH₄ gas.
