Silica-based clicked hybrid glyco materials

Abstract

The impact of the copper-mediated alkyneazide cycloadditions on the covalent click immobilization of carbohydrates onto the surface of silica-based materials for the construction of a variety of sophisticated glyco structures and devices are covered in this critical review. The advanced applications of these new bioconjugated hybrid materials are also described (105 references).
