Fabrication of CaFe2O4/MgFe2O4 bulk heterojunction for enhanced visible light photocatalysis

Abstract

A bulk heterojunction photocatalyst of interfacing CaFe2O4 and MgFe2O4nanoparticles is highly active for oxidative degradation of isopropyl alcohol and hydrogen production from water under visible light, because the exciton easily reaches the interface and dissociates to minimize recombination.
