Functionalized carbon nanotubes for pH sensors based on SERS

Abstract

A pH sensor has been developed by realizing bimetallic-nanoparticle-decorated carbon nanotubes (CNTs); a single CNT is capable of measuring pH in its local vicinity continuously over the range of 5.6 to 8.2 pH units.
