Photoresponsive double-stranded helices composed of complementary strands

Abstract

A photoresponsive single-handed double helical supramolecule composed of complementary strands bearing azobenzene moieties underwent a reversible transcis-isomerization regulated by photoirradiation, resulting in a change in its molecular length.
