Highly selective recognition of lead ion in water by a podand fluoroionophore/γ-cyclodextrin complex sensor

Abstract

We report herein a novel podand fluoroionophore/γ-cyclodextrin (γ-CyD) complex sensor that shows markedly high selectivity for lead (Pb2+) ion in water.
