Synthesis of 6′-sulfodisaccharides by β-N-acetylhexosaminidase-catalyzed transglycosylation

Abstract

Presulfated N-acetylglucosaminyl donor (pNP β-D-6-SO3-GlcNAc) was applied for the synthesis of sulfosugars using the β-N-acetylhexosaminidase-catalyzed transglycosylation, to afford the critically stereocontrolled sulfodisaccharides carrying the 6-sulfo GlcNAc residue at the non-reducing sides in one step.
